You could call me the MOST cynical in all the land when it comes to romantic love... I am not a huge relationships person and honestly never have been. I love my life, I love my career, I LOVE living with my sister, I love my friends/family and I love my cats.

But sometimes in life... there comes along a certain person-whether it is a friend, lover, romance, even family member-that turns your world upside down. The love they pour out to you feels so PURE... so magical... so real... so HOLY.

This is a song I wrote late one night in January about those encounters-I call them "holy meetings of souls." It feels we get only a few in a lifetime and when they come through... whether it is for even just a day, a week, a month or years.... they change your life and they change you.

I laid down these scratch vocals in one take because I wasnt even certain on all the lyrics yet... and when I walked back into the control room... the incredible Rie Daisies-the assistant at Troubadour Studios in Lansing-said it best:

"THAT song just made my nipples hard."

So here is your raw and rough one take demo version of Holy Meeting. Exclusively available for download at Band Camp. :) ENJOY!
